John Bulpit started his legal career in Oxford in 1987 and quickly began to specialise in property. He moved to Newbury in 1994, and worked in one the leading firms in the Thames Valley over the next 12 years, gaining experience in residential and commercial property and in particular property development.

His most notable transactions have included the setting up and sale of a marina development in Oxfordshire and the development of a disused textiles mill in Gloucestershire consisting of converted mill buildings and new build properties, involving both Leasehold and Freehold. This development also involved a quite complex management company structure.

He joined Scott Walby LLP in September 2006 to head up the Property Team.

John is known for his attention to detail and for getting the job done and has a long list of satisfied Clients who like his hands on approach working closely with them to achieve a satisfactory conclusion. This has lead to a number of Clients likening him to a terrier with the tenacity and eagerness to get his teeth into a project and seeing it through to the end.
